No more choosing which subject stays sharp — this filter keeps both foreground and background in focus simultaneously when I shoot street portraits. The split is surprisingly seamless, and the twist-to-lock mechanism holds firm even after a full day in the bag.

The two lens elements spin independently, which let me line up a flower in the foreground with a mountain ridge behind it, and the surreal overlap made the shot look like a painting. It takes a bit of fiddling to get both planes tack sharp, but the result is genuinely worth it for portrait work.

The dual focal planes really mess with your brain in the best way—I shot a portrait with the background city lights blurred and both stayed tack sharp. Each lens element twists independently, which made lining up the split surprisingly easy.
